WORKSHOPS:

A: USING SEQUENCER TECHNOLOGY (afternoon workshops only)
(*) 11:30-12:30 there will be an Introduction to Cubase for first time users

Team led by Andrew Kitchenham, MTC [Music Technology Centre, Bournemouth]
MTC will be displaying a range of books and teach aids for the teaching of Music and Music Technology

A1: Using Sequencing Software to compose music for the Moving Image (*)
Experience of using AVI film clips; an overview to synchronization and a tour of the
most useful features of Cubase that are used by film composers.
(*) First time users must attend the introductory session at 11:30

A2: Using Cubase SX to produce Dance Music (*)
Audio aspects of Cubase to develop contemporary Dance music; editing loops and
samples, making basic audio recordings and use plug-in FX and virtual instruments.
(*) First time users must attend the introductory session at 11:30

B: USING THE SIBELIUS EDUCATIONAL SUITE
