SAILING is a significant sport at Oundle School (Oundle, Peterborough, UK)
with a large Topper and 420 fleet at Middle Nene SC (Thrapston)

The 2003 season was spectacularly successful, with unbeaten individual matches for both the ‘A’ and ‘B’ teams, and both teams won the Gold Fleet and Silver Fleet respectively at the 2003 BSDRA Midlands and Eastern Champtionships.

Team Racing is the sailing sport of the Universities so learning how to do it at school gives a competitive edge for those wishing to sail at University.

The Michaelmas Quarter programme is intended for specialist sailors with supervised instruction on Tuesdays & Thursdays and Club Racing on Saturdays up to Half Term. Wet suits essential. There is a course leading to RYA INSTRUCTOR qualification, and there is also advanced team racing coaching in preparation for next season.
