Connecting iPAD to a PC or Mac to run Autograph remotely

The above video was taken at The Perse School, Cambridge (UK). How was it done?

On your iPad: go to iTunes App Store; purchase and install Splashtop Remote Desktop

On your PC or Mac: download Splashtop Streamer.
When it runs you will need to enter and confirm a password that you also enter into the iPad app.

PC Splashtop offers these useful screen controls. 2-finger tap: Toggle Trackpad Mode is especially useful, giving full control over the mouse signal, allowing accurate selection and positioning of objects! On PC, you can use the Autograph keyboard in any other app. Splashtop offers a useful keyboard too with links to F keys etc	On Mac, the Autograph keyboard runs only in Autograph. Splashtop offers a useful keyboard too with arrow keys etc

Connection: Splashtop offers a one-to-one link with iPad and PC or Mac on the same wireless network. If you have more than one iPad you will need the same number of instances of Windows on the server. More than one means these need to be an equivalent number of virtual Windows desktops, You can also use your gmail account to connect remotely.	Object selection and even writing is greatly improved by using this Adonit 'Jot' scribing pen (available from Amazon). This has a transparent circular plate that mimics the finger
